How to reduce your Auto insurance premium

The quickest ways to reduce the cost of your insurance are simple.

First, try raising your deductible from what ever it is, to a higher limit. Going from a $250 to a $500 could save you a couple hundred off your insurance.

Other ways to save are less obvious.  One way we as Agents, save people money is by INCREASING your limits of liability (Bodily Injury Liability Protection).  Often you can save money, not the other way around. The last way to save money is less preferred. Trade in your car for one that has a lower Insurance symbol. The cost of your insurance is based on what symbol, or number, your car is. That 2010, 2 door, Chevy Cobalt has a symbol of 18 and costs more to insure than the 2008 Dodge Durango SLT 4x4, 4 door which has a symbol of 13.
